Barangay Mindupok, Maitum, Sarangani – December 24, 2024 – The 22 women of Barangay Mindupok, beneficiaries of the REIGNA initiative, were filled with gratitude and joy as they received a generous gift from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “SINAGLAHI” Class of 2015. As part of their yearly gift-giving pledge, the PMA class extended their support to the community with grocery packs aimed at improving the well-being and livelihoods of the women and their families.
On December 24, 2024, a ceremonial gift-giving event was held at the Barangay Hall of Mindupok. A total of 22 women who are active participants in the REIGNA program were presented with grocery packs, which included essential food items and supplies. This thoughtful gesture is part of the class’s continued commitment to supporting communities in need, especially in conflict-affected areas.
The REIGNA program, which empowers women in Barangay Mindupok through skills development, business training, and gender equality initiatives, has made significant strides in fostering economic independence and leadership among the women. This partnership with the PMA “SINAGLAHI” Class of 2015 enhances the community’s efforts toward long-term social stability, peace, and economic growth.
